PINK FIST AS A VIRAL SYMBOL

Rick Robinson’s Pink Fist artwork, inspired by a simple message to vote, was his personal response to the demands for social justice and the passionate voices expressed on the streets during 2020.

The image with the word “VOTE” over the fist symbol was featured in iconic spaces such as Times Square, NYC, Hollywood Blvd, LA, SF and Atlanta, GA, as a means to raise awareness during the 2020 election and also raise funds for The Center for Common Ground, a 501(c)(3) non-partisan voting rights organization.

THE MISSION

“The Pink Fist mission is simple - increase voter turnout. Nothing happens unless the public participates. Silence is not an option. Whether it’s in the democracy we know today in America or the experimental crypto governance systems of the future, principles of fairness and justice can only exist with those participating and voting.”

For the 2022 midterms we will “Get Out The Vote” in a modern way through an art-driven fundraiser in real life, the metaverse, and in an accompanying national billboard campaign. 60% of sales will go to the Center for Common Ground, a non-profit dedicated to registering under-represented voters.
